Joseph Kakaty, Chief Marketing Officer
Mr. Kakaty is Chief Marketing Officer with responsibility for the Company’s marketing and sales operations. He is responsible for online and offline marketing activities and ensuring premium service to institutions, students and CLC customers. Over the past decade, Joe’s sales leadership helped CLC to become the nation’s 7th largest student loan originator and today remains the 10th largest holder of student loan assets.
Mr. Kakaty is also CEO of Edvisors, a subsidiary of College Loan Corporation. He oversees all aspects of the company operations, including marketing, sales, and product development.
Prior to his current position, Mr. Kakaty was Director of Business Development for FastWeb, Inc. Before that, Mr. Kakaty spent four years as a top performing regional sales manager for PNC Bank’s education loan division. Mr. Kakaty received his B.A. degree in Business Administration & Marketing from the State University of New York, College at Brockport and has been honored for his outstanding service to the Brockport Alumni Association.
Charitable Contributions
Joe Kakaty currently serves on the board of the non-profit organizations Stop Child Predators and Hannah’s Hope Fund. He also serves as a school board member at Diocese of Albany in New York.
